: The Nepal Government may acquire the necessary land according to the prevailing law for the following purposes:-
(a) to construct dams or embankments,
(b) To construct a canal bridge,
(c) to construct a reservoir,
(d) To construct power generation, transmission, distribution and transformation centers (substations),
(e) to connect electric wires or lines above or below the ground,
(f) To strike electric baton,
(G) To build other facilities related to electricity,
(h) To do other work to fulfill the purpose of the authority.
